Q. Which side of the road do I drive on?
A. In Antigua we drive on the left side. Our cars have right-hand drive

Q. Do I need a special permit to drive in Antigua?
A. Yes, we have temporary driving permits - for an additional cost of US$20.

Q. How do I find my way around Antigua roads?
A. We will provide you with a local map or one of our representatives will be happy to point a FEW places of interest.

Q. Do you offer unlimited mileage?
A. Yes.

Q. How do you classify a local renter?
A. A local renter is a customer who cannot provide a return boarding pass.

Q. What does a reservation guarantee?
A. Your reservation guarantees a car at the rate, date and time that you reserved it for. It does not guarantee a specific make and model unless made during your reservation.

Q. What do I do if my vehicle is not functioning properly?
A. First, call the location from which the vehicle was rented. The staff at the rental location will be able to instruct you as to what to do.

Q. What should I do if I lost something in the vehicle?
A. Chase Car Rentals is not responsible for anything left in the rental vehicles. However, if an item is found in a rental vehicle, it will be turned into lost and found at the rental location. Please call the location from which you rented for more information.

Q. I don't know what car to reserve? Can you help me choose?
A. Yes, our trained staff can help put you into the correct vehicle. Please call us for more information.

Q. What if I made a reservation and want to upgrade once I get to the location?
A. When arriving Antigua, ask the Chase Car Rental representative about the availability of an upgrade. If an upgrade is available, our representative will help you find the rental vehicle which will best fit your needs.

Q. Who is the primary renter?
A. The primary renter's name will be listed first and will provide the payment information, whether it is credit card or cash. The primary renter is solely responsible for the vehicle that is rented.

Q. How early do I need to return my vehicle?
A. Give yourself ample time to return your car. Most airports advise that you arrive 2 hours before your scheduled flight. While we pride ourselves on expediting the return, you may still need a few moments.
Your car should be checked for damage at the time of the return both by you and our representative. If there is damage, you may be required to fill out a damage report.

Q. What do I do in case of an accident?
A. First, make sure that everyone involved is okay. If someone is injured, immediately dial 911 for help. Second, contact the local authority in order to fill out the necessary accident report. Third, call the rental location to inform them of the accident. Then we at Chase Car Rental will send one of our trained staff to assist you and guide you according will give you.

Q: Does the price quoted include all taxes?
A: No it does not cover government ABST, nor does it include our collision damage waiver fee.

Q: What are airport taxes?
A: Airport taxes are the fees that the airports charge to car companies for the use of their terminals, and roads; plus other service charges mandated by the airport. We do not cover these costs.

Q: Will I receive the make/model of car I have reserved?
A: Receiving the requested make or model of car depends upon availability at the time of your arrival to pick up the vehicle. The vendor cannot guarantee the make or model you will receive.

Q: How old do I have to be to rent a car?
A: The rates given are for 25 years and older. However, most vendors will allow you to rent if you are between the ages of 21-24 for a surcharge.

Q: Is there a shuttle service to my rental car?
A: We offer free pick-up and delivery from the airport, hotel or any location you are staying at, in Antigua.
